Best Friends

Jackson Daniel Coulter III

Sweet Jackson was born October 26th. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces, was 19.5 inches long, and could not be more adorable! He is a red head! It was truly an incredible day. I am so glad Dan shared such a miraculous moment with us. I will never forget when my precious nephew came into this world. Morgan was unbelievable. I've never been more proud of her!

I cannot believe that my little boy is blessed enough to have a first cousin that was born only 40 days after him. I know that they will be the best of friends! Aunt Birdie loves you Jackson!!

5 Weeks

Mills-

I cannot believe you are 5 weeks old today! You are growing away, and I just want time to slow down. Yesterday we went to see Dr. Parmer. You had to have your PKU test repeated, because they messed up the sample. I was not very happy about it, but you slept through the entire test.

When they weighed and measured you we found out that you had gained 2 pounds and had grown 2 inches in 2 weeks! You are now 10 pounds, 4 ounces and 22.5 inches long. No wonder you are waking up every two hours to eat. We had a long night last night, but I woke up to you smiling like the picture above, and it makes everything worth it!

Daddy and I have been taking you strolling a lot, and you love being outdoors. You are really starting to take everything in. You look around constantly and are smiling and cooing a lot. I couldn't ask for a more precious baby. You are an absolute joy!

Tomorrow night you are spending your first night away from home at Mammy and Papa's house. It should be interesting!

Meeting Sam

Caroline and precious Sam came by to meet you when you were about a week old. I am so glad that Caroline and I had babies around the same time. I know that you will be big buddies one day. I just hope by the time you can read this they will be back in Decatur!

First Month at Home

I am a little behind blogging, who knew a baby was so time consuming? It has been such a blast having our little man at home. We haven't quite gotten the sleep thing down, but I know that will come!

Aunt Ginny and MoMo giving Mills his first sponge bath at home.

Aunt Beef came to visit!

Sweet Lissy and Mills
Watching football with Daddy

Meeting William and Harris

TFUJ stopped by for a visit

Meeting Cousin Lane for the first time. Lane couldn't get enough of your sweet toes

Your first real bath. You really enjoyed it (even though this pictures show otherwise).

Having some naked time. Mom stuck you in a laundry hamper so you wouldn't make a big mess!

Life at our house has changed drastically, but we couldn't be happier. Mills- you are such a little angel. We don't know what we did before you came into our lives.
