First Birthday

I cannot believe you are 1!! It absolutely blows my mind, but we had such a great weekend celebrating your birthday.
Papa, Mammy, Granddaddy, and Grandmother came over the night of your actual birthday. You couldn't have been any cuter and more excited. I had been a little worried about you digging into your cake (because you are the pickiest eater EVER), but you dug right in. You even moved on to biting straight into the cake. Notice the goldfish on the tray.. You'd take a bite of cake then eat a goldfish. I guess you like the sweet/salty combo like your mama.

Aunt Ginny brought you a balloon the morning of your birthday. You played with it for hours. You have been obsessed with balloons at the grocery store and make quite a scene when you see one. You were beyond excited to have your own balloon.

Not to be outdone, MoMo brought you a 4-wheeler. You love it as well! You can actually ride it and figured out immediately how to push the button and take off.

You just haven't quite gotten the steering down!

Watch out!

The next day we went to a petting zoo with some buddies and your cousins. You are crazy about animals and really took it all in.

You and Kitty really loved the baby goat roaming around. Aunt Ashley... not so much!

That night Daddy and I were a little too loud while we were watching you sleep and talking about how precious you are. You popped up and resumed your birthday celebration wayyy past bedtime.
