29 Days and Counting!

At our doctor's appointment yesterday, Dr. Loncar informed us that she would not let me carry Mills past September 16th. This means we officially have less than a month! I have gone into countdown/prepare for baby mode, and I cannot wait for him to get here.

It is so strange to see this in our laundry room:
Tiny clothes hanging to dry. I think it's really hitting David that he's about to be a dad. He's been pretty funny about everything!



Baby Shower

Let me start by saying that I have the most incredible friends in the entire world. Really, I do. This past Sunday they threw me a really sweet shower. We ended up having it at Grandaddy's office, which I know he would have loved. My sweet friends came from all over, and I know they will never know how much it meant to me. Mills got some great stuff! I now know that if he came today, we would be ready... at least supplies-wise!

\Sweet Whit was there a week after giving birth to the most precious baby boy. She gave me her signature towel apron, and I couldn't have been more excited!

Weddings

Wedding season is in full bloom, and we have been doing our share of travelling. Dr. Loncar says my days of leaving Decatur are now over, but we have had a blast.

First we went to Chattanooga to Katie Fogo's wedding with Callie and Stu. We had a fun-filled weekend of catching up with college friends, shopping, and "icing"...thanks Kyle! It was really a beautiful wedding.

A few weekends later, Mom and I went to Tuscaloosa for Carrie Pearce's wedding. The reception was at The Zone. It was really neat, and Carrie looked gorgeous.
