It's Official...

as hard as I am trying to keep you a tiny baby, you are growing up! We borrowed Grandmother and Granddaddy's walker tonight, and you just took off.

Harassing Virginia Funny face

Daddy trying to crawl through your tunnel.

The first time your crawled into the dishwasher. It is now your favorite thing to do when I turn my head for half a second.

Someone got ahold of a checkbook.

Such a ham!

At the Huntsville Botanical Gardens

Lately you have been dragging your comforter into the bed or balling up your blankets to make yourself a pillow. I think it's time Mommy puts one in your bed.

The present Bibby and Virginia gave him after busting his lip. He loves his ball! Mills passed out on the way home from Point Mallard on the 4th of July

9.5 Months

23.25 pounds, 31 inches, and into absolutely everything! It's no wonder that you have your first busted lip. Your first (and favorite) word is "uh oh". You have said "mama", "dada", "ball", and Ginny swears you say "Aunt Ginny". Hopefully I will catch up on blogging soon, but you keep me VERY busy.

Louisville

It's been a busy summer, and I am way behind on blogging... again. The weekend after we went to the beach, we headed off to Louisville, Kentucky with Big David and Linda. I didn't realize just how big Louisville is, and it quickly became one of David and my favorite cities ever.

We went to a race at Churchill Downs where we had our own private suite and got a tour of the paddock area. It was the perfect setup because little man had room galore to play! We would go outside, watch the race, then return to our suite to cool off and relax before the next race. As I told Big David, "I could get used to this!"

We ate fabulous meals (including Pat's Steakhouse twice), visited the local casino (quite an experience), went to the Louisville Slugger Museum (Mills paid close attention to the entire tour), and David and I even had a night out to ourselves (4th Street Live is a blast). Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing trip. Thank you David and Linda!
